The role

Are you a talented frontend developer with a passion for crafting engaging, high-performance Shopify stores? Do you enjoy solving technical challenges and turning creative designs into reality? If so, we’d love to have you on board as a Mid-Level Shopify Frontend Developer!

At B2, we’re all about creating ecommerce solutions that don’t just look amazing but also deliver seamless user experiences. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of designers and developers, building custom Shopify storefronts that help our clients stand out in a competitive market.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and customise Shopify themes using HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript, and Liquid
Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect layouts
Implement new features and functionalities
Optimise storefronts for performance, speed, and SEO best practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experiences
Stay updated on the latest Shopify features and front-end technologies

What We’re Looking For

Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+)
Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language and theme development
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
A keen eye for detail with the ability to match designs with precision
A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
Keen adherence to Shopify coding standards and best practices

Bonus Points:

Experience with third-party Shopify apps and custom app integration
Familiarity with headless Shopify setups or frameworks like Hydrogen
Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques for ecommerce sites
An interest in UI/UX design and accessibility best practices
