The role

Are you ready to make your mark on some of the most exciting Shopify projects in the ecommerce space? We’re on the hunt for a Senior Shopify Frontend Developer who’s not only technically brilliant but also passionate about delivering pixel-perfect, high-performing online experiences that wow customers and clients alike!

At B2, we pride ourselves on creating stunning, user-focused ecommerce solutions. As a Senior Shopify Frontend Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our clients’ visions to life while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the Shopify platform.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement bespoke Shopify themes that look and function beautifully
Optimise front-end code for speed, scalability, and accessibility
Work with Liquid, Shopify APIs, and custom scripts to enhance functionality and deliver dynamic experiences
Stay ahead of the curve by implementing the latest front-end technologies and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues to maintain high-quality code standards
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to elevate the entire team

What We’re Looking For

Expert-level experience in HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
Deep understanding of Shopify’s Liquid templating language and theme architecture.
Experience integrating third-party apps and APIs into Shopify stores.
A keen eye for design with the ability to translate Figma files into flawless, responsive layouts
Excellent communication skills – you’ll be liaising with designers, clients, and other developers
Keen adherence to Shopify coding standards and best practices

Bonus Points:

Familiarity with headless Shopify setups using tools like Hydrogen or Next.js
Experience in performance optimisation for Shopify storefronts
A portfolio showcasing not only your skills but also your creativity!
Strong grasp of modern frontend development workflows, including version control (Git) and build tools (Webpack, Vite)
